Two large kitchens plus a dining hall indoors and grand patio connect the homes & make for perfect dining, meeting & entertaining spaces. The Estate is your own private resort boasting a 50 ft pool, pond w/ waterfall, tennis, pickleball, putting green, hot tub, & much more!
Completely enclosed by a stone wall around the entire 27 acres, guests have exclusive use of the Estate. The main house boasts extensive porches, patios and a sunroom with large hot tub on the patio. Inside, the main floor layout features a kitchen, great room, dining room, parlor and 1/2 bath. The second & third floor comprise of 12 stunning bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the estate. Additionally, there is a guest laundry in the basement. The grand patio is perfect for large gatherings outside and connects the Main House to the Carriage house. The first floor of this cottage is home to a beautiful sunroom large entertaining kitchen, dining/conference space for 36, a half bath. and laundry facility. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property grounds make Green Gables truly special. Our spacious lawn with the grand swimming pool (open May-Sept), tennis / pickleball courts, golf tee boxes & putting green, firepit, disc golf, playground & playhouse and a host of other outdoor games and activities are only the beginning. Trails through the lovely woods brings you to our stream, pond and waterfall where arched bridges, a boathouse, and kayaks add to the fun. Back inside the Carriage Barn, a game room complete with billiards, ping pong, foosball, video games, basketball shoot and darts await! The barn also hosts our gym, theater, and yoga/multipurpose space.
Guests have exclusive and full access to the property and all the amenities except for the Owners area.
Green Gables requires the booking guest to be at least 25 years old and be onsite and have at least one positive review. An additional booking agreement is required.
Cars are recommended. Grocery, Pharmacy, restaurants, post office, gas and most services are all within 1 mile of the property.
Near Spectacular Buck Hill Falls, Skytop resort, Mt. Airy casino & golf resort, multiple ski resorts, Pocono Outlet shopping, and the lovely villages of Barrett township. The Estate sits central to the best of all that the Poconos entails.

Our holiday stay was amazing. Our family loved the house and all of the festive decorations. The owner dressed as Santa and stopped by for a visit. He was fantastic and added a magical touch to our festivities. We will definitely be looking to visit again. Amazing time. Merry Christmas!!!
We had the most wonderful weekend getaway in the Poconos, staying at Green Gables Estate! The house was perfect for our family—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the amazing views of the surrounding nature. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking meals a breeze, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The host, Devin & Lindy were incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether it was the peaceful mornings on the porch or nights in the den, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to recharge. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, cozy retreat in the Poconos!
Our stay at the Green Gables was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to host our large group. The house was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, offering everything we could have possibly needed. Every detail was thoughtful, and it was clear that our hosts take great pride in making their guests feel at home. One of the standout aspects was the kindness and generosity of our hosts. Not only were they available on-site to answer any questions, but they also went above and beyond to accommodate a personal situation, which we were so grateful for. Everyone in our group was thrilled with the experience. If you're looking for a wonderful home to accommodate a large group, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and with hosts who genuinely care about their guests, look no further. This stay was absolutely perfect in every way, and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for an unforgettable visit!
Beautiful historical home. Confortable and clean. The hosts were super responding and accommodating. The surroundings of the house are BEAUTIFUL and breathtaking. EVERYTHING is labeled, you won’t have any problems looking for anything. Super well equipped kitchen. Game room is great for family time or the kids. Lots to do in the house and surrounding property. Great for families! Had a peaceful but great time. Favorite part of the trip: sitting around the fire outside and taking about our blessings.
We had an extended Family weekend for my father's 90th Birthday and the place was perfect!!
We rented this house for a leadership retreat; everything from booking the home to leaving the home was such an easy process. The hosts communicated from the very beginning until the end of our stay. The home is a very old home so if you love older homes this would be a great place for you to visit. The home is very well maintained and it looks like they did a great job keeping the charm of the house while working to make modifications. Our team loved the garage with the game room, theater, gym and conference area. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Overall, our stay was excellent and if we are in the area again; it would be a top option for booking for our group size.
Devin’s place was amazing. My group enjoyed every second of it. Amazing spacious place and lots to do. Highly recommended.
